elf yourself!
Ok so we did it too...our favorite one is the disco. My favorite part is when Tim is dancing with his hands behind his head, it looks like the way he dances for real. :)

Tumble Bugs!
Natalie was in the Tumble Bug class at the YMCA. It was a lot of fun to see her develop those fine motor skills. She is also picked up a few moves by watching the summer olympics. On the first day she was walking across a beam like thing and had her arms out and she was making this very serious face, like she was concentrating...it was really funny, at least to me.
My favorite part of the class is when they would "stretch" before hand. She would listen so well and the only kid that would actually do it without help. So here is a video... we really need to work on that jumping skill.

Natalie is 2!!
So I'm a little behind...Natalie turned 2 on December 1, I can not believe she is already that old! She got a Dora quad from us. It was so cute to see her driving around the house and all the kids following behind.
Anyways, we had a party for her and she was dead set on it being a "Rella"
party. So we made it to Party City to get the party stuff and of course she wanted every single princess thing in the store. This is all new to me since Dylan is pretty laid back when it comes to
that sort of thing, (believe me he has his moments, but not as many as Natters. ) So we decorated the with
Cinderella and when she woke up that day from her nap I had this cute little sweater outfit laid out that I was planning on her wearing, unfortunately she spotted her Ha
lloween costume in her room and wanted to wear that...after all it WAS her day. She she not only looked like a princess she also acted like it. I can tell she doesn't mind being the center of attention, she LOVES it.
Here she is with her little "Rella" dress and of course the Rella phone!
Again, I really need to figure out how to get the pictures in the right order, if anyone knows TELL ME!

Hippos
When Tim and I were in New Jersey we got each the kids something. Dylan a life size Spiderman, well its Natalie's size. And we got Natalie a hippo that walks and opens its mouth. She LOVES hippos, so I thought it was the perfect gift. Turns out she likes it until I turn it on. In this video she is pleading with me to turn it off. I look like a great mom since I just keep on taping. :)

New York!
Last weekend Tim and I went to visit my sister and brother in law in New Jersey. They live fairly close to New York City so we spent the day there on Saturday. It was a LOT of walking but it was really cool to see.
Here is a picture of the New York City skyline when we were there. It was so foggy that we couldn't even see the top of most buildings. So it makes it look a little scary. The park we were at when I took this picture was were Ryan proposed to Erin, how sweet. :)TRL!
30 Rock!!
The Rockefeller tree that was delivered earlier that week
Tim in front of Trump Tower.
Us in Central Park

Ground zero.
On the way home we saw a black bear on the side of the road! It was sniffing the road and then turned around and went back into the woods. It was really cool and I have never seen a bear that wasn't behind bars and in a cage.

Halloween
Drew was Batman, Dylan, Natalie then there is Josh who if holding Emma, who was a bug.
Nevaeh was a Lion, and Lexi was Hannah Montana.
No the pacifier didn't come with the dress, she wouldn't stop crying to take the picture so we stuck that in and got a pic. :)
Ok so Im a little late on this, but I had a request by my sister to put the halloween pictures up.

Again they are in reverse order, (I really should figure that out. ) Natalie is a princess, she called her self "rella" and Dylan was Spiderman, of course!
We stopped by a couple of the neighbors and then both sets of parents. It was a lot of fun and they got lots of candy for me!

Carving pumpkins
I'm a little late on posting these pictures, but I really wanted to show them. I guess they got uploaded in reverse order, oh well. So this pic is of all the kids with their finished pumpkins. We started a tradition of carving pumpkins at my parents house. Mainly because Tim gags at the smell of pumpkins and I really don't care for the mess either. My parents love helping the grandkids do it, so thats what we do! You can see my mom taking a picture with a cell phone, she was taking it to send to my sister in NJ.
Natalie ate some of the seeds and stringy stuff, gross! You would think she would stop eating it after she tasted it but no she put it in her mouth at least 3 times.
Dylan wasn't too sure of the mess either.

Happy Birthday!
Natalie learned a new song! Here she is singing her little heart out. Meanwhile Dylan is break dancing to it. Tim is sitting behind Natalie and keeps on trying to make her laugh by hitting her with his foot. She laughs the first time but then says "sorry" every time he does it. She is so cute!

Dylan Golfing
This video was taken a while ago, when it was nice out. But I forgot to put it on here. Dylan has a golf hole set up in the back corner of our yard and LOVES to golf. He can hit the ball really far, probably because he practiced everyday when it was nice out. Now he is trying to figure out how the tees can stick in the carpet. Im sure there will be something broken in our house by the end of winter.

Wine Tasting
This past weekend we went up to Traverse City to go wine tasting with some friends. We went with 3 other couples and had a lot of fun. The weather was perfect and the colors were amazing. The wine was pretty good too.
The pictures I took really didn't do justice for how beautiful it was. We really timed it perfectly to be there during peek season.

Post Family Farm
Saturday we went to Post Family Farm to pick out some pumpkins. We met our friends Josh and Tara there with their son, Kyler.
Here is Tim and Dylan on the hay ride.
Me and Natalie on the hay ride. Her nails were digging into the back of my neck most of the ride...not a big fan of hay rides I guess.
Natalie had a blast trying to lift every single pumpkin.
Dylan is thrilled that he found the perfect pumpkin.

Hide & Seek
Dylan and Natalie now have a new favorite game, Hide and Seek. It is not only fun to play with them but it sure gives us a lot of laughs. This picture is Dylan hiding under Natalie's crib. His feet are completely showing and every 30 seconds he yells out, "can you find me?"
Natalie is no better at hiding, she decides that whenever one of us tells her that she has to be quiet she just can't control her screaming and squealing. Maybe someday they will get better at it but for now we are loving every entertaining minute of it.

Dylan the Dolphin
Dylan discovered this hidden talent he has by mistake. I actually dont know how/where he learned this, but he is a dolphin. Here is a video of what I hear ALL THE TIME!

Dylan's first day of School!
I can't believe Dylan is already in school, he doesn't seem old enough. These were taken right before his first day of school. I was so nervous he was going to through a huge fit because he didn't want me to leave him there but he didn't. He just walked right in the door and started talking to his teacher and didn't even look back. He did great his first day, but me on the other hand did not. I felt sick the whole day and felt like I was going to cry. I never thought is was going to be that hard when he went to school, I always thought I would absolutely love just having one child at home with me for a couple of hours. Maybe I will feel that way in a couple of weeks but right now I still feel sick.

Pictures on the Beach
This weekend we went to the beach and took some pictures. Although there is not one with all of us in it we still got some cute ones of the kids. I am sure they will end up on our Christmas Cards. :) Take a look at the rest of them...http://photosbykaity.smugmug.com/gallery/5865708_siJ7A#364257655_FCb7V

Mommy's make-up
The other day I heard Natalie playing in the other room and didn't think much about it since she often takes toys into the other room and plays.
Then I went to go put make-up on and I couldn't find it. I quickly ran into the other room and found her just starting to put eye liner on her eyes. It wasn't a big deal, she just was doing what she sees me doing. I'm glad that I caught her before she pulled out the rest.

I recently took my nephew's pictures and we threw Dylan and Natalie in a few of them. I can not believe we actually got a couple that they are all looking and all smiling! That doesn't happen often.
Josh and Drew, so cute!

Movie on the Beach
Dylan learning how to ski at Big Star. Not behind a boat or sea-doo, but behind daddy.
Dylan and Natalie driving the boat with Grandpa.
A couple of cottages down from our cottage is the Tanis cottage. Mr Tanis and Scott set up a movie screen and big projector on the beach and had a movie night on the beach. It was "Bob night." First it was Bob the Tomato, a Veggie Tales movie that Dylan gave two thumbs up. Then it was What about Bob?
Here is Tim, Dylan and Mr B enjoying the Veggie Tales movie.

This week I took pictures of our friend's little girl who is turning 1! Here are a few of my favorites.
Chris LOVES to throw Laney. Although it makes most people cringe, she absolutely loves it.So cute!
Again with the tutu, so cute!
She didn't give me as many smiles as I hoped, but I did get a couple keepers.
Happy Birthday Laney!
